About Mason Machinery

started in 1948

Mason Machinery was started in 1948 by Hilmar Mason with the Allis Chalmers line of tractors. He and his wife Reba ran the business together for many years from their home garage. During that time Hilmar also ran the family's farm. When the store received a customer, Reba would go out to the farm and get Hilmar. Six years later, Mason Machinery had outgrown the garage and Hilmar built a shop off of Highway 24 in Aurora, Utah. He and Reba continued running the business together for 30 years through all the ups and downs of the agricultural industry.

In 1984, Mason Machinery constructed the building that we currently operate in today. The building has been expanded twice since then to accommodate our expanding parts inventory, and provide us with a service area to meet our customers' needs. Since this time we have added NEW HOLLAND AGRICULTURE, NEW HOLLAND CONSTRUCTION, MASSEY FERGUSON, GREAT PLAINS, STIHL, CUB CADET, AND MACDON lines to our inventory.

Allen Mason, Hilmar and Reba's son, joined the Mason Machinery team in 1985 and is currently the CEO and President of the company. Eric Mason, Allen's son and the third generation of the Mason family, joined the business in 1998. He is currently the General Manager and Vice President of the company.

In spring 2011, Mason Machinery expanded their operation by opening a second location in Springville, Utah. Located just off of I-15 and exit 260, Mason Machinery continues to grow in a thriving market. Mason Machinery currently has 25 employees in Aurora and 9 employees in Springville. Mason Machinery is family owned and operated and hopes to be a staple in the surrounding Utah communities for years to come.

Mason Machinery strives to be a full service agricultural dealership. Damon Averett, Tack Bagley, and Cameron Hallows will assist you with the purchase of your new or used tractor, haying or tillage equipment at our Aurora location. Derek Johnson and James Holmes is available to assist you in our Springville location. If we don't have what you are looking for, we will do our best to order it for you.

Our service department is managed by Dusty Ross and Rachel Mason. In Aurora we have 3 technicians with fully operational service trucks to assist you with breakdowns in the field. We also have 4 technicians that work inside of the shop to get your machine going. Steve Carling is our equipment transportation specialist who will deliver and pick up your equipment. Our Springville location is managed by Ashley Curtis and Courtney Young; and has 2 field technicians and 1 service technician available to help you with your needs.

Brad Rasmussen (Parts Manager), Ben Rowley, Robert Hammond, and Gay Perry are ready to help you in the parts department In Aurora. In Springville, Rodney Doolin (Parts Manager) and Randy Jarvis, are ready to assist you and will help get you the parts you need.
